TL;DR – Brexit By Numbers: Border Control

There’s a variety of laws that effect Britain’s borders with the EU. These may or may not remain in the event of a Brexit and this will be determined more than likely by the reaction of other member states to Britain’s leaving. As a result it’s hard to say if a Brexit is necessarily good or bad in regards to tightening Britain’s border control. This makes it almost impossible to know if it would increase or decrease the rates of immigration to the UK either from the EU or outside the EU.
